Run workplace drug screening without the clinic trip. LabX delivers an observed, lab-supervised 12-panel collection your employee completes from home via TeleTest β $89 for a 12-panel, $99 for a 12-panel, results in 24β48 hours, with definitive LC-MS/MS confirmation on any non-negative result.
Why employers test
Drug use follows people to work β and the numbers are climbing.
Sources: Quest Diagnostics 2025 Drug Testing Index and SAMHSA 2024 National Survey on Drug Use and Health. Figures describe national testing and survey populations, not LabX-specific results β but they make the case for post-accident and reasonable-suspicion testing, not just a box checked at hire.

Two ways to run it
TeleTest — ship to a remote employee
Perfect for remote or distributed teams. We drop-ship a supervised TeleTest 12-panel kit straight to your employeeβs address — the kit price plus $8 shipping, charged to your card on file. Nothing comes out of your in-stock inventory.
In-stock inventory
Keep kits on hand at your business. Your first purchase is a Starter kit that seeds 5 kits; after that you reorder a minimum of 5 at a time, shipped to you and prepaid. A screen drawn from inventory is $0 at order time, and any unexpected presumptive-positive is confirmed by the lab at +$25 per positive.
Shipping: Priority shipping ships the same day when you order during business hours (MonβSat, 8amβ5pm ET), otherwise the next business day. Standard shipping ships in the order it comes up in our queue. How fast it travels after that is up to the carrier.
How much you save
LabX is $89 for an observed 12-panel urine screen ($99 fingerstick blood) β collection, result and secure reporting, plus $8 to drop-ship the kit to your employee, with optional confirmation. Here is how that compares with what national labs publicly list for a self-ordered or workplace screen:
| 12-panel drug screen | Typical price |
|---|---|
| LabX β observed at-home 12-panel (urine, incl. $8 drop-ship) | $97 |
| Labcorp OnDemand β self-order (6-panel $109 / 11-panel $169) | $109–$169 |
| LabCorp 12-panel (typical published range) | $100–$150 |
| National occupational providers — plus collection-site & MRO fees | +$5–$15+ |
On top of the base price, most national providers add a collection-site visit and, for workplace testing, Medical Review Officer fees. LabX bundles observed remote collection into the $89 — no separate site trip — with 24–48h results and optional $25 per positive LC-MS/MS confirmation.
Comparison figures are publicly listed self-order / retail prices as of early 2026 (Labcorp OnDemand list prices; published LabCorp 12-panel ranges) and vary by location, contract, panel and any volume agreement. Shown for general comparison — not a guarantee of savings in every case.
Compliance & accuracy
Screening flags whether a drug class may be present; definitive LC-MS/MS confirmation then identifies and quantifies the specific substance β so a non-negative result is verified, not assumed. Observed collection supports specimen validity and chain of custody. The laboratory reports accurate, defensible results; how those results are used in employment decisions, and any determination of fitness for duty, rests with the employer and its own policies and advisors.

Talk to a licensed physician
Test results support workplace decisions but are not a medical diagnosis. Anyone with questions about a result or their health should talk to a licensed physician. Employer screening results are reviewed by licensed and trained Medical Technologists; LabX does not currently offer Medical Review Officer (MRO) review, and employers can speak with a LabX toxicologist about a result.
