For Employers

Oil, Gas & Energy Drug Testing

Energy work is high-hazard, and remote sites demand ready-to-go collection. LabX provides non-DOT screening for energy employers. Pipeline roles covered by DOT/PHMSA rules need a DOT-regulated program, which LabX does not provide.

Why energy tests

Explosive environments, heavy equipment, and remote locations make impairment extremely dangerous.

The right program for the field

For non-DOT roles, a robust random program and on-site post-accident kits. A 12-panel covers synthetic opioids.

How LabX serves energy

Kits staged at remote sites, barcode tracking, and lab-confirmed results.

Talk to a licensed physician

Test results support workplace decisions but are not a medical diagnosis. Anyone with questions about a result or their health should talk to a licensed physician. Employer screening results are reviewed by licensed and trained Medical Technologists; LabX does not currently offer Medical Review Officer (MRO) review, and employers can speak with a LabX toxicologist about a result.
